Pocztowiec (Postal Dwarf)

Dwarf Pocztowiec, like his twin brother Listonosz, deals in the service of letters and parcels. Working at the post office on the Market Square, he supports the largest mailbox in the city. Only he has the capacity to accommodate the tourists arriving in droves in their correspondence out of Wrocław. Once it happened that a tourist from Sweden wished to send a postcard...in a bottle. Pocztowiec was a little surprised (perhaps the sender was a big fan of The Police?), but after a while he agreed and put stamps on it, and – according to regulations – sent it out via the Oder river. In these lean times when “snail mail” (a term Pocztowiec hates) has to compete with electronic mail what counts the most is efficiency and reliability.
