Game Rules: Wrocław Dwarfs
Points are awarded for personally taken photos of the dwarfs listed in the application.
The number of points for each dwarf is specified in the application.
Points may be removed for photos:
- where the dwarf is not visible
- that depict scenes inappropriate for children, particularly those containing violence, hate, nudity, alcohol, weapons, or drugs
- that only show an image of a dwarf displayed on another device
- if the organizer determines that a situation has occurred where one dwarf was visible in the application multiple times but under different names
Exceptions
- a photo showing the remains of a dwarf or its previous location is allowed if the dwarf has been stolen/destroyed/removed and has not yet been removed from the application
- a photo from the screen of another device is allowed if the user has previously reported that there is a dwarf at a given location
- photos from the screen of another device are allowed if the photos contain any individual, recurring symbol/tag in the user's photos that allows them to be distinguished from other photos
- photos showing the general location of the dwarf (e.g., building facade, fence, entrance doors) are allowed if at the time of taking the photo, the dwarf was inside a building or in an area with restricted access (e.g., not accessible at night, requiring permission to enter the building), and the application did not indicate the dwarf as having restricted access
The Boss Dwarf is scored each time its location changes.
The organizer reserves the right to change the number of points awarded for a specific dwarf, which will result in recalculating points already earned.
The organizer reserves the right to enrich the game with other ways to earn points, in particular:
scanning QR codes that need to be found and scanned with the application
bonuses for quickly finding a dwarf
In special circumstances, the organizer may grant individual permissions to accept photos of dwarfs from the screen of another device without visible individual markers, provided the user requests such permission from the organizer and verifies that the photos are taken personally.
In particular, such permissions are granted in the event of a malfunction of the Wrocław Dwarfs application, temporarily preventing the proper earning of points.
A player's points are removed from the ranking three years after their last login. Logging in again restores the user to the ranking.
