Gasiorek (Extinguisher)

From his very cradle, Gasiorek’s mother lulled him to sleep with tales of the Oversized People’s heroic feats combating deadly fires in the City by the Oder. The boy knew then what he wanted to be. And this commendable desire to extinguish fires and rescue folks in distress burns, so to speak, in Gasiorek today. Yet how could a tiny dwarf be a firefighter? How exactly is he to pull frightened kittens from towering trees? Well, the way anyone would – he rolled up his sleeves and began to learn! He diligently completed his rescue certification, and developed countless operational plans to fight fires, in all manner of weather and water levels. Since that time he has participated in over one hundred firefighting interventions. And that’s how Gasiorek became the pint-sized hero of Wrocław.
