Papa Dwarf

At the exit of the underpass on Świdnicka Street stands the bronze statue of Papa Dwarf. Papa has resided there since June the 1st 2001. As the mentor of all Wrocław dwarves, he was the first to leave the underground for the streets of the city. In his youth he was nicknamed Major – he was then an active participant in social life.Together with colleagues he created the happenings of the Orange Alternative, distributed toilet paper to those in need – even organized the summer campaign Down with the U-piles! Here he has remained until today, roguish smile intact.
