The Gardener and Director

Work in the botanical garden lasts the whole year, a year teeming with the rhythms of nature. Activities are endless: new flowerbeds in need of sowing, watering and attending to plants, cutting and trimming the grass and shrubs, and measuring tree growth. And even the attempt of a chorus of birds at a Fall concert to accompany the raking of autumn leaves! With so many responsibilities the garden’s worker dwarves should be given the occasional well-deserved rest. It so happens that its busy manager Cebula (Onions) is currently grabbing a nap…but the moment he does, some interlopers make off around the garden with the sleeping little man in a wheelbarrow. Well...a moment of entertainment has never hurt anyone.
