Więziennik (The Prisoner)

On the windowsill of the former Municipal Prison the dwarf Więziennik serves his sentence. He has long since realized the mistakes of his youth, yet still today he sees the world from behind bars, bearing a heavy ball and chain. All this because of the mess in the Paragrafek's archives! For twenty-plus years his apprentices have searched in vain for the document recording the length of Więziennik's punishment. Is it now 5 million or 5 billion passers-by that have been touched by his fate? Even the oldest dwarves do not remember. We only know that a kindly greeting lessens his torment. Consider throwing him a smile from time to time.
