📍 Świdnicka Street.

Tourists coming to Wroclaw often wonder where the dwarves in our city came from. The answer is simple - from the underground. But why then are they aboveground? - Well that’s it’s a different story. In 1997 during a raging flood in the city, six dwarves jumped out of a raft and climbed up on the poles on Świdnicka Street. Seeing a family with four children they gave away their places in the lifeboat. Sitting on the lampposts, they were able to help control the movement of boats, kayaks and other floating vessels. Currently they monitor the public promenade - so be careful where you throw your trash!
