Dovecote

Dwarf Dovecote is the guardian of Wrocław’s fluttering feathered creatures, a job that requires the utmost sensitivity. His principal duties include the scattering of the choice grains of wheat and bread crumbs amid a flurry of cooing near the glass fountain on the Market Square. There you’ll find Dovecote on the windowsill of the Restaurant “Spiż,” on the Dove Square (where else?). Here is the place where he often goes on a skywalk. Hovering above the city on the wings of a dove, the dwarf guardian admires the panorama of Wrocław and greets tourists standing on the tower of the St. Elizabeth church.
