Malt Island is undoubtedly the kingdom of Piastosław I Złocisty. Sitting astride the empty bottle of a very hoppy beverage, the elf plans a cruise on the foaming waves of amber water. These aren’t just the muted musings of a dwarf nursing a pint of beer, but rather a blueprint of a new tourist route “In the footsteps of the Piasts.” Tourists can follow the Oder river to the waterfront near the Piast Brewery and visit the historic buildings of the old brewery, and who knows? - Maybe even participate in some brewing workshops? This might be a grand idea, because in Wroclaw there are hundreds of fans of the exalted malted beverage.
