Babcia i Wnuczki

📍 Walońska 15

⭐ 3 points

Few people know that each seaside has its own guardians. They make sure that the flowers bloom in spring, that the sun's rays do not lose their way in summer, and that in autumn the wind remembers to scatter colorful leaves along the paths. On this quayside, two little dwarves were the guardians. They took care of the waterfront every day, but they had a problem - people were in such a hurry that they almost stopped noticing the beauty around them. The dwarves wondered for a long time how to bring back the joy of small things to passers-by. They scattered dandelions, hid flowers along the paths, and even brought exceptionally beautiful sunsets. Yet people still passed by in a hurry. Only one good Grandma always noticed their efforts. She stopped to admire nature, sat on a bench, watched the river and never passed by the small wonders with which the dwarves decorated the waterfront. – Look, someone noticed us! – the dwarves were happy. With each passing day, they became more and more convinced that it was Grandma who understood the language of small miracles best. She was able to see beauty where others saw an ordinary day, and she shared her good mood with everyone around her. The dwarves knew that Grandma had a bit of dwarf magic in her. That's why one day they invited her to join the group of guardians of the waterfront. From then on, they welcomed sunrises together, watched passers-by and made sure that everyone who visited this place forgot about the rush, at least for a moment. Today they still sit here together and watch passersby. They say that if someone stops next to them for even a minute, stops rushing and looks around, they will surely see something beautiful: a flower, a butterfly, a dandelion fluff or someone's smile. This means that Grandma Nadbrzeża and her faithful companions have once again shared their greatest secret - the ability to enjoy simple things.
