Spektrek
📍 Młodych Techników 58, NSTB
Spektrek is a unique Wrocław dwarf, created thanks to the Non-Public School of Behavioral Therapy for Children with Autism in Wrocław and the tremendous support of parents and the school community. His name refers to the autism spectrum, and his mission is to spread knowledge about neurodiversity and remind people about acceptance, understanding, and the power of diversity. In his hands, Spektrek holds a heart made of two hands – one created from puzzle pieces and the other ordinary. It is a symbol of the meeting of two perspectives: those on the spectrum and those who want to understand them. The puzzle symbol represents the diversity and uniqueness of people on the autism spectrum. It reminds us that each of us is an important part of a larger whole – different, but equally necessary to create a complete picture of the world. He is a dwarf who proudly represents people on the spectrum and reminds us that you don't have to be the same to fit into the same puzzle.
