Szermierz (The Swordsman)

The Swordsman Dwarf became famous among the wee ones for his mastery of fencing. In this field he was declared Grandmaster – with his patented roundhouse slashing maneuver and his grasshopper-like ability to avoid the deadly thrusts of his rivals! Again and again he threw down the gauntlet to fellow fencers, winning laurels along with the hearts of the Dwarf womenfolk. He appeared in 2005 in the University courtyard – with an umbrella! The Swordsman Dwarf is in fact now a well-deserved retiree. His pride and joy, the Silver Needle, is on display in the Dwarf Museum of Fencing.
